I first discovered the loveliness that is Favor Jewelry at the Little Winter Market this past November (My intro to many, many wonderful local indie designers and the source of new shopping obsessions - Thanks Chelsea & Abby!).

Monika Reed, Favor's designer, crafts covetable eco-friendly jewelry using reclaimed sterling silver and gold. All of her pieces are produced locally in Portland, Oregon, too! We're very excited that Favor just lauched its Spring 2011 Collection and it includes the most gorgeous necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and rings.

What I love most about Favor is the expert mix of delicate chains, slender metal circles and ellipses, and pastel-hued gemstones. They are versatile pieces that are perfectly understated, so you'll want to wear them as chic everyday pieces, but they are special enough that they can easily be worn as wedding jewelry, or for an evening out.

Drooling over what you see here? The new spring pieces are available in Favor's online shop. They make perfect mother's day or birthday gifts. Or, treat yourself! Happily, Favor Jewelry is budget-friendly; the majority of pieces are priced under $100 (many well under).
