Filly Spring 2011

Filly is a local Portland-based clothing label designed by Emily Christensen. We first became familiar with Filly via the Portland Fashion Week 2010 designer showcase, and were thrilled to learn from Clever Nettle that Filly has just launched an online shop! Apparel from both the Spring 2011 and Fall 2010 collections are currently available from Filly's online shop.

We adore Emily's approach to fashion, a place, in her words, "where the practical and the precious come together."  Filly's gorgeous garments are not defined by bold patterns or external embellishment, instead they are defined by their exquisite construction. Simple in style at first glance, Filly's designs are made in solid colors in lovely easy-to-wear natural fabrics, but incorporate the most beautiful details like perfect gathers, tucks, and seaming, which also ensure a great fit.

Check out a few of our favorite designs from the Filly Spring 2011 collection!
