SQUIRREL & STARLING

As with so many lovely artists, Julia and I first spotted Shanna Murray's illustrated wall decals at the Little Winter Market (organized by Chelsea of Frolic!  & Abby of Abby Try Again) this past November. Shanna Murray's illustrations are so beautiful (she illustrated the Little Winter logo too!) that our first exposure launched a proper obsession!

My education included the study of Greek and Latin poetry and vase paintings, in which wreaths feature prominently. Shanna Murray's artwork speaks to me of all of these favorite things and important influences, plus her illustrations are simply exquisite. This is why I was delighted when Shanna Murray's new collection was launched today! The collection features many wonderful variations on the garland and sweet messages too!
